We developed these out of High Strength Low Alloy Steel (38% stronger than A36), reinforcing the area around the ball joints to reduce that chances of breaking the knuckle. If you've ever had to try and get a vehicle off the trail with a broken knuckle, you'll know this is pretty cheap insurance for a catastrophic failure.
